Connections Ministry

In a military community situated around a metropolitan area like Norfolk, you’re bound to see a new face in our services every Sunday. It can often be difficult to distinguish between members, frequents guests and brand new faces. That’s why Brady and Christine Babcock started the Connections Ministry.
The Connections Ministry is a team of members who seek out visitors every Sunday morning. The team tries to make a sincere contact with the guests of the church. They ask questions to find out about how we might be able to serve them. They also explain what services the church has in place to meet their needs. Sometimes that might include Operation Uplift for military members, the food pantry or a ladies’ Bible class. Ministry leaders are made aware of any one who might need their services. We’ve put a new spin on “no man left behind.â€
