Doug King
Doug is from New York and his wife Paula is from Virginia. He graduated from Greenport High School and is a veteran of the United States Navy. During his 22 years of service in the Navy, he fulfilled various assignments in California, Great Lakes, South Carolina and Virginia, with 10 different commands. Doug retired from the Navy in 2001. He has settled in Norfolk and is currently working in the Marine Engineering field as an US Navy contractor through AMSEC (as subsidiary of SAIC).
Doug and Paula have two children and one is presently attending Norfolk State University.
Doug has served the Norfolk Church of Christ as a Deacon and as an Elder for several years. He has a heart for service in the community with the Homeless and Food Bank Pantry Ministry.
